This recipe is a great way toĀ preserveĀ those browned bananas rather than throwing them out. It only uses 3 ingredientsĀ and a dehydrator. These banana chips are a great healthy snackĀ and have a long shelf-life!
Supplies and Ingredients:
Dehydrator- I use this model.
Bunch of bananas
2 Tbsp Lemon juice
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
Peel bananas and slice thin, approximately 1/4 inch. Put all sliced bananas in a bowl and pour lemon juice and cinnamon over top. Gently mix a few times with your hands and then place the slices on the dehydrator trays. Set the dehydrator at 130F and dehydrate for around 8-12 hours. The bananas are shrunk down and hard when done. I store them in an airtight glass jar for up to a year. Enjoy!
