This recipe is super tasty, filling, and easy to make! Great way to meal prep dinner. I like to serve with a side of broccoli and some tomato sauce over top!
Supplies needed:
Electric Smoker
Wood Pellets
Pan and tongs
Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
6oz shredded mozzarella cheese
20 manicotti noodles
20 slices of thin cut bacon
Optional: steamed broccoli (for side), tomato sauce over top
Directions:
Mix ground beef, herbs, spices, and cheese together in a large bowl.
Stuff the mixture into the noodles.
Wrap the noodles with 1 slice of bacon for each one.
Get your eletric smoker ready, make sure the hopper is full of wood pellets, and the water tray is full.
Place the noodles on the rack.
Set the temperature at 200F and smoke for around 3 hours. I like to use a lower temperature to really infuse the smoky flavor. I flip the noodles over halfway through. They are done when the bacon outside is nice and crisp!
I serve 2 noodles with a side of broccoli and some tomato sauce. Enjoy!
